Inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase and is not photosensitizing. Keratolytic. Helps unclog pores. Antibacterial. Broad-spectrum bactericidal. Antiseborrheic. Inhibits 5?-reductase. Anti-inflammatory. Eliminates free radicals, slowing the inflammatory cascade. Acmed can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding and is better tolerated than retinoids or benzoyl peroxide. It can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other treatments. It is recommended to use Acmed once or twice a day for up to 12 weeks. It can be complemented with Acnaid Liquid Soap for the perfect care of acne-prone skin.
