Hyaluronic acid, also known as HA, is a naturally occurring compound found in the skin that has many important functions.
Along with vitamin C this includes keeping in moisture, providing cushioning, aiding in tissue repair, holding together the structural components of the skin, collagen, elastin, and helping to create a protective barrier against microorganisms.
How do Hyalurovit tablets work?
The superficial layers of the skin are supported from below by columns of fibers composed primarily of collagen and elastin. This network of fibers forms the molecular sponge known as connective tissue.
The spaces within this sponge are filled with a composition of water, protein complexes, and hyaluronic acid. This jelly-like complex transports essential nutrients from the bloodstream, through the capillaries of the skin. Hyaluronic acid attracts and holds water, which is what plumps your skin so that wrinkles and lines are less visible.
Also the lack of hyaluronic acid, in the body's joints, progressive wear and tear can begin, leading to cartilage destruction, joint pain, reduced flexibility and osteoarthritis.
Hyaluronic acid provides cushioning between the joints which then allows the cartilage to re-stabilise, while a lack of hyaluronic acid causes pain on movement and keeps the joint chronically inflamed leading to progressive wear and tear.
