Pure® Encapsulations Vitamin A + Carotenoids is a combination of vitamin A, an important vitamin for vision, along with lutein, astaxanthin, and zeaxanthin. Carotenoids are pigments that occur naturally in photosynthetic organisms.
Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. The carotenoids in this formula are obtained from marigold flowers (lutein and zeaxanthin) and microalgae (astaxanthin).
